The Perfect Pink Porsche?

The Perfect Pink Porsche?

Posted on 29. Apr, 2009 by PB in 911

We just had to post about this Porsche belonging to Amanda Vega. I first saw her car in her Twitter profile and right away thought - right...I'm following her!!

I added her to my list of followers and she returned the favor. Amanda sent  me a wee tweet  "why I love my pink Porsche even if everyone thinks it's weird.", and that settled it - we just had to post about this 911 soft top.

I asked the obvious questions of course, why pink? why Porsche? Read on to find out more!

So, Amanda, What made you buy a Porsche? Was it just something you saw and thought I must have that?

I wanted a Porsche from the time I was 15. So, I saved and saved my whole life with the goal being that I would buy myself one for my 30th birthday -which I did.

And the colour? What made you choose pink?

I originally wanted a red Porsche, but had a hard time finding a used one,so I got this one out of Chicago. The pink is a Porsche color - not custom. It's called cashmere pink.

So what do you think?

I personally love it. It looks awesome from the pics. Would love to see it in the flesh. From the wheels to the interior this car is certainly making a statement, and I kinda like it for that very reason.

Amanda must get some amazing looks driving this car and must smile every single day she gets to fire her up. Now you can't beat that really can you?

It's that little feeling you get towards the end of the day owning a car like this. "suns out - roof down?" or "darn...I need to pick up milk...I guess I could always go to that shop 10 miles out my way!" That is what driving a Porsche is all about and you gotta love it!

As well as being a Pink Porsche owner, Amanda is a CEO with over 17 years online experience. Published author. PR maven, social media expert, EO member. Pug lover and Britney fan :-)

Thanks to Amanda for sending her pics through. It's definitely worth following her @AmandaVega and checking out her company Amanda Vega Consulting.

Thanks for the article. It is quite certain that there are days where I will indeed drive 10 miles for milk, and days that if you think you just can’t handle anymore – you can get into the car and go for a drive and just smile! Now, is anyone out here in Phoenix that can change out that woodgrain for me into something leather or carbon fiber? If so, here’s your social media lead! Awesome article and blog!

This is the first time I have seen a pink Porsche and I must say it looks really good. This must be a real head turner when you go buy milk. :-)

Haha…it’s all about the milk. It does look pretty ace it’s got to be said, As Amanda says it’s a standard Porsche color as well. Was wondering if we will ever see a Cayenne in this color?!?! :-)

Hey Amanda. Nice ride! Try to check out Patrick Motorsports in Pheonix. They might be able to change the woodgrain to leather or carbon fiber. Good luck!
