The 2009 Porsche Cayman S – A love Affair Waiting to Happen

If you have been looking for a reason to buy a new car, Porsche has given you several of them all wrapped up in one car. The 2009 Porsche Cayman S is a must have for car lovers.

I was lucky enough to have a play in a good friends Cayman S and was very impressed with this bit of kit. The Cayman S has always confused me in a way. I have to say when the first pics arrived a few years back I was a bit undecided. It was the same when the 944 came out. I couldn't work out who it was aimed at. Well, once again my mind has been changed. I absolutely loved it.

From the outside, this car screams sexy. It’s got curves in all the right places and seems to want to be driven as much as you are going to want to drive it. But this love affair only gets started with the external appeal of this car.

The interior, as is expected from Porsche, is pure luxury. The soft curves of the seats hug your body as though it was made just for you. The cockpit styling of the interior places all onboard controls within easy reach of the driver and allows for expert handling as well as comfort. Porsche owners are often envied for the interior luxury of their cars and the Porsche Cayman S lives up to that standard beautifully.

This car has a soul. That soul is a 7 speed 320-horsepower 7500rpm redline engine that leaves the competition in the dust. It handles like a dream. Wet or dry, this amazing car can handle road conditions that are less than perfect without a hitch. Even at top speeds there is no sense that you could lose control. There is a sense that you are flying and that everyone else envies you. Of course this is true so sit back and enjoy it!

In the event the little environmental monster is lurking in the back of your brain, with the creation of this car Porsche also outdid itself on gas mileage. At 30mpg highway, the Porsche Cayman S can’t be touched for fuel efficiency by any other car in its class.

If you are looking to restart your love affair with a cars, this is the one to buy. Porsche has outdone itself in every aspect with the creation of the Porsche Cayman S. This is a bit of kit that you will fall in love with instantly but also one that you will know loves you back.

I'll have a Techart one....in white please. Black interior. Or maybe the S Sport in yellow. Arg...can't decide. I always thought it was either Boxster Vs. Cayman. Is it wrong that I'm thinking Cayman rather than 911? Eek!!
