Sportec, the Swiss tuning firm, are offering a Porsche 911 with compressed natural gas (CNG) They claim this offers both more power and reduces carbon dioxide emissions in comparison with the conventional model.

Sortec are claiming 0 - 60mph in 3.7 seconds with a top speed of over 200 mph

The CNG drive gives the driver the option of switching from petrol to the more eco-friendly natural gas at the press of a button. carbon dioxide emissions are supposed to be “substantially” lower than for the standard Porsche Turbo, although the exact figures are not out just yet.
